About the forum

The 2018 Michigan Forum will be held this year on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Kellogg Center on the campus of Michigan State University (kelloggcenter.com). This year’s forum will highlight the findings of the Governor’s 21st Century Infrastructure Commission and the state’s new energy legislation. Featured speakers include MPSC Chairman Sally Talberg, Ms. Valerie Brader, Executive Director of the Michigan Agency for Energy, and Mr. Evan Weiner, Chairman of Michigan’s 21st Century Infrastructure Commission. Other speakers will represent a broad spectrum of public, private, and academic perspectives.

The Forum is a one-day conference designed specifically by the Institute of Public Utilities for the Michigan Public Service Commission (PSC), the Michigan State Legislature, the Offices of the Governor and Attorney General, consumer and environmental advocates, utility industry representatives, and others interested in Michigan regulatory policy.  The Forum is sponsored by the Institute of Public Utilities (IPU) in partnership and developed in collaboration with the Commissioners and staff of the Michigan PSC.

 

Registration

The Michigan Forum is free for all Michigan Public Service Commission and state legislative personnel. The registration fee for the private sector is $150. The fee for the non-profit sector and for municipal utilities is $50.00.
